Grants and Bursaries

The Society offers both educational and charitable grants.

Through the Henry Probert Bursary, we offer a post-graduate grant of up to £1000 for Service personnel or students who will add to the historiography of the RAF.

Through the generous donations of previous members, we are currently able to support other charities committed to preserving the history of the RAF.

Amongst the projects we have funded are the Scampton church memorial window, a Covid relief grant for the International Bomber Command Centre and the RAF Museum's purchase of the Arthur Scarf Victoria Cross.
