About the RAF Historical Society
Our History
Founded in 1986, the RAF Historical Society is a charity dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of our community.
Our Mission
We work together to further the understanding of the role and history of the Royal Air Force through publications and seminars. In addition, the Society provides educational and charitable grants.
Our Activities
The Society aims to mount three annual events - 2 seminars and an Annual General Meeting.
We publish two journals a year, which record the seminar proceedings, and also include book reviews, notices and provide opportunities for wider research activities to be published.
